Design > 3D Characters
My most significant 3D work was done during my time at Scopely Inc. in the summer of 2022. During my time there I learned mostly about the videogame industry’s design pipeline; from concept drawings to modeling, painting, instancing, and animating. The project I’m most proud of is a robot character generator I made using geometry nodes to instance different components on a model from a collection of assets I created myself. The nodes were linked using a randomizer that would create a completely new combination of arms, legs and faces. To finish off the character generator I built a cell shader for the models to give them a sort of toonish look.
